We shall keep you posted on new items such as new additions in the business or recent seminars we have attended. We have put up our "Customer Satisfaction" rating today. This rating is obtained from surveys sent out to all our Photo Doc customers. As always, your feed back is appreciated, no matter if it comes in an email or a survey of some sort. We strive to become great at what we do and it gives us extreme satisfaction in announcing that we have once again surpassed our personal goal of being "better than average". Please click here to see the results of 2005. (And now, 2006). This has been a very busy year for us and we thank you all for the opportunity to serve you. We have added a new Canon 20d digital camera to our equipment to help better serve you. Also, we have upgraded to Photoshop CS2, the most recent edition to the best product on the market for photo restoration and editing. These past few months have also been busy with seminars. Most notably have been the Epson Print Academy which we attended in St. Paul, MN and the Photoshop Seminar which took place in Milwaukee, WI.
As always, our hats go off to the people who put these seminars together and present them to us. The Epson Print Academy was as outstanding as their printers, which we use in our business. The Photoshop seminar- as each unique seminar has been in the past- is a very outstanding resource of knowledge. We hope you are all enjoying the summer....we look forward to serving you in the near future.
Well, we are in our very busy season, with the holidays upon us. We had attended our last seminar of the year a few weeks ago down in Chicago, IL. This time the seminar was a full 16 1/2 hours over 2 days spent with the famed nature photographer, John Shaw. We have definitely come away with some nice suggestions for doing our job even better. These seminars are not in vain, but they sure can become long days. In the end though, well worth the time invested! We have also added another member of the Epson print family to our arsenal of printers. This one is the Epson 4800. The studies done on the output from this printer suggests archival life for color prints to reach well over 100 years, with black and white prints approaching the 200 year mark. The prints we have produced off of this printer are very nice indeed. Together with our other Epson's, we will be able to provide you with family treasures which will span generations. Hoping you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Today, we are pleased to announce the addition of our Fine Art Prints for sale on the web. We had been asked many times for an easy way to see and purchase our photos. We hope this fills that void. We will be updating the Fine Art Prints on a continual basis, as time allows. Please check back often. It has been another interesting, well enjoyed year!...and still more to come! We have met alot of nice people interested in saving their family's past and quite a few who enjoy our Fine Art photos, which we have for sale right here. We have been busy with the Senior/Graduation photos which we have enjoyed very much! We are also very pleased to say that our models have greatly enjoyed their "model shoots". We have been the Official Media Photographer for the Dodge County, WI fair this past August. We also had a booth at the fair which people seemed most interested in...it was a pleasure to have met all of you! We may do a bit more of this, at different functions, as time allows. As some of you may know, I am also involved with a few bands, so between gigs and doing the photography work, it leaves little time for event advertising, but we'll see how it goes. This coming month we will also be helping out the Veterans for taking some photos to mark a very important event for their group. We are pleased to help them, as we all know, if it weren't for our brave men and women, none of us would be enjoying all we do today! May you all enjoy this fine Labor Day weekend! Well, it's 1:19 am and I am listening to Bill Mack, the Trucker's DJ. As some of you may know, I used to drive truck over the road, hauling mainly out to the East Coast and back. Although I covered 33 states, the East Coast was where the most loads were. I just got done snow blowing from our first winter blast, wasn't too bad and I got to visit with my neighbor, Diana, whom I haven't seen that much since the weather began turning cold. After I get done writing this, I will be returning to working on photos for customers who are getting their Christmas gifts made by us.
Where is all this jibber-jabber leading? Well, it's leading towards this: No matter how busy any of us are this Christmas season (or any other time). we must remember those people whom are most special in our lives. Take time with your family, neighbors and friends. They make this life a wonderful life! Now, hopefully tomorrow, Diane and I may be able to take some time to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy (James) Stewart.
Stay warm, enjoy family and friends, and above all, remember what the true meaning of this season is. To you and yours, a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year! Well, we are almost into Spring...finally! It has definitely been a Wisconsin Winter this year. (Although they are predicting snow for tomorrow and Tuesday, the temps are to get as high as 40 degrees)! The finches and cardinals are eating well as well as the squirrels...getting ready for the new year's little ones. As for us, we are getting ready for the Spring time rush of photos to be repaired and outdoor photo shoots. So, please, for your convenience, schedule early. This way you will get your photos returned when you need them. We do want to bring to your attention our new addition to our web site. That addition is the "Live Chat" on our main page. Anytime you see this on, if you have a question for us, you will be able to receive an answer right away. If we are not "on", you may still email us your question, and we will answer it ASAP. If you haven't noticed, we have put on the results of the 2007 survey of our customers, so, please check out our ratings. We, as well as our customers, are very pleased with last year.
